SMS Terms of Service

The Modded Car Notes SMS Program sends two optional message types: account notifications and recurring marketing messages about the site's modification documentation guides. Messages explain why aftermarket wheels, audio systems, wraps, suspension changes, and other modifications should be documented, and they remind subscribers to keep receipts, take photos, and maintain modification records. Each type requires its own separate consent.

The program does not provide quotes, applications, eligibility screening, agent outreach, provider matching, referrals, sales calls, or third party follow up.

• Account Notifications: Subscription-related texts such as guide delivery, content access updates, opt-in and opt-out confirmations, and replies to HELP requests Message frequency varies based on account activity.
• Marketing: Recurring promotional offers, announcements about new Modded Car Notes products and services, featured website resources, special campaigns, and updates about newly available guides and tools Generally up to 4 messages per month.

Each category requires its own separate consent.

You join by checking one or more SMS consent boxes on our subscribe page or on https://moddedcarnotes.com/modded, and providing a valid mobile number. Consent boxes are unchecked by default. A phone number submitted without a checked SMS consent box is never treated as consent. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase, access, or use of this website.

Where technically supported, we record the phone number, the selected category, the consent timestamp, the source page, the disclosure version, the browser user agent, and the IP address if available.

The first message you receive identifies Modded Car Notes and matches the category you selected.

Account notifications: frequency varies based on account activity. Marketing messages: generally up to 4 messages per month.

Msg & data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Reply STOP to any message to cancel that program. You will receive a single confirmation that messaging has ended, and no further messages will be sent for that program unless you opt in again.

You must be at least 18 years old, the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided, and located in the United States. Service availability depends on your carrier and device.

Information collected through the SMS Program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be sold, shared, rented, released, or transferred to third parties for marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes.

We may update these SMS Terms. The updated version is posted on this page with a new revision date, and continued participation after that date means you accept the update.
